DISTANCE SALE AGREEMENT AND WARRANTIES
Studio Krokus delivers flowers in Riga and throughout Latvia 24 hours a day, without breaks or holidays. We operate on the same schedule during all holidays. We guarantee the quality of goods delivered by our couriers at the time agreed upon with the customer; all exceptions are described in the “On-Time Delivery Guarantee” section.
DISTANCE CONTRACT
This contract is concluded between SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA, reg. No. 40203062931. , legal address: Artilērijas 25, Riga, LV-1001, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA) and the Buyer (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer), who places an order on the Krokus. LV online store, located at the web address http://krokus.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Flower Shop).
The operation of the online Flower Shop is provided and maintained by Krokus.LV.
By placing an order in the Flower Shop, the Buyer confirms that they have read the Flower Shop’s Terms of Use and the Distance Contract, which are available at the web addresses https://krokus. lionssolution.com/piegades-nosacijumi/ .
The Buyer is entitled to receive the goods and services offered in the Krokus.LV store after the Buyer has made an advance payment for the relevant service or goods. The description and price of each relevant product and service are indicated in the product catalog next to each item. All prices include value-added tax.
The Buyer may pay for goods or services by selecting one of the remote payment methods offered by the Flower Shop.
Payment for goods and/or services constitutes confirmation of the order and the Buyer’s irrevocable acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
Upon payment for the order, the Buyer has entered into a contract with SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA, which establishes mutual rights and obligations.
The buyer has the right to return the item to the SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA store within 14 days of receiving it, without providing an explanation for the return. The returned item must not have been used or damaged; it must be in its original packaging, and the packaging and its labeling must not be damaged. The exercise of the right of withdrawal and the return of goods are governed by the following legal acts:
– Consumer Rights Protection Law;
– Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 207 of May 28, 2002, “Regulations on Distance Contracts.”
The right to return goods does not apply to cut flowers, bouquets, floral arrangements, and houseplants. (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 207, Section 15.3).
SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA has the right to unilaterally cancel an order and refund the full order amount to the Buyer if, due to circumstances beyond SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA’s control, the order cannot be fulfilled. (For example, the ordered item is unavailable for more than 30 days, or its production season has ended)
Quality Guarantee and Return Policy
Quality. All photos of our work displayed on the website are examples of possible arrangements. Each floral arrangement is unique and one-of-a-kind. It may differ slightly in terms of certain elements, appearance, and packaging materials. We may change the quantity and types of flowers depending on the season, as well as their availability in stock and other factors. The final execution of the order may differ from the photos in the gallery. All floral arrangements are created by our florists using only fresh flowers, and they do everything possible to ensure that the arrangement you receive matches the provided sample as closely as possible.
If the recipient has any complaints regarding the quality of the bouquet, they have the right to refuse the bouquet and return it immediately to the courier, reporting the situation by phone at +37120030306. The situation will then be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Once the recipient has accepted the bouquet, no complaints will be accepted.
Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of the flowers once they are in your home, as we cannot control the conditions in which they are kept. Flowers are a living product, and it is impossible to predict how they will behave under various conditions; for this reason, in Latvia, Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 207, Section 15.3 applies (non-returnable: cut flowers, bouquets, floral arrangements, and houseplants).
Financial Guarantees. If an order is canceled at least 24 hours before fulfillment, or at least 72 hours in advance during holiday periods such as February 14 and March 8, the full amount will be refunded to the recipient. If you cancel a payment, funds withheld by payment systems as a commission fee for accepting the payment, as well as for the refund, will not be refunded. Typically, payment system commission fees range from 4% to 7%. When canceling an order, we recommend simply transferring the paid amount to a different date and delivery. In this case, we will not need to issue a refund, and the paid amount will be fully transferred to the new date.
If the customer requests to cancel the order later than the previously specified time, we can only reschedule the delivery of this bouquet to a different time or day. In this case, we will not remake the bouquet prepared for delivery.
On-Time Delivery Guarantee
Every order at KROKUS is registered in our information system, so all orders are automatically monitored. The system notifies florists, couriers, and customers about various order-related events. Therefore, every order you place is guaranteed to be monitored. The system predicts any potential issues with order fulfillment in advance and resolves them promptly.
Our couriers also use this automated system. That is why we deliver all our orders at the time specified by the customer. In the event that it is not possible to deliver the bouquet at the specified time, or if a delay of more than 30 minutes is expected, we inform the customer and discuss the next steps for delivery.
Our couriers calculate the route and potential delays in advance. However, traffic conditions change rapidly, and traffic congestion is not always predictable. In the event of additional traffic jams on the courier’s route or traffic congestion exceeding 8 points, a delivery delay of up to 1 hour may occur without prior notification to the customer. We always strive to keep you informed and send an SMS for every update related to your order. We want to assure you that 99% of our orders are fulfilled on time and to a high standard. We handle all other situations on a case-by-case basis with the customer.
In the event that an order is fulfilled outside the Riga city limits, we cannot guarantee “on-time” delivery. We consider the time specified in the order to be the customer’s preferred delivery time. When fulfilling an order, we make every effort to meet the desired delivery time. However, since these are more distant areas, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed; nevertheless, we can definitely guarantee delivery on your chosen day by 10:00 PM. Service guarantees. Orders placed by phone, email, certain combined orders, or complex orders are processed manually by our managers. We will review your request for order fulfillment within 24 hours.
In most cases, you can immediately track the order fulfillment process online in your personal account on the website, and you will also receive an SMS update on the order fulfillment process.
We take a photo of the recipient at the time of delivery. This photo is sent to the customer via email to the address provided during the ordering process. We can only guarantee this service on our part. We are not responsible if you provided an incorrect email address when placing your order. We are also not responsible for any possible delays in email delivery or for your email system rejecting the message. This photo is also automatically processed—the recipient’s face is blurred, and the photo is posted in our portfolio.
If the recipient or the customer does not want this, please let us know at any time. We will immediately remove the published photo.

Replacement of Flowers in a Bouquet
Occasionally, we may need to replace flowers while maintaining the bouquet’s appearance and value. Our company’s specialists reserve the right to replace packaging or floral materials with equivalents. The florist may make replacements at their discretion, preserving the composition’s value and style.
Please note: our online catalog lists approximate flower lengths and the sizes of bouquets and arrangements. The actual sizes and lengths of the flowers may vary slightly: the difference will be approximately 5–10 cm.
The contents of the fruit basket may vary. This is due to the limited availability of certain fruits in different regions for various reasons. Additionally, the quality of the products offered in the store may not always meet the required standards. Therefore, please note that the photo on the website is an example of an order, not a sample, so the composition of the fruit may vary.
When assembling the basket, its contents are selected within a specified budget. The company’s specialists will make every effort to fulfill the order as attractively as possible.
